Funny how break-up songs and songs about unrequited love speak to me sometimes:
"Dreams, that's where I have to go
To see your beautiful face anymore
I stare at a picture of you, and listen to the radio . . .
To see your beautiful face anymore
I stare at a picture of you, and listen to the radio . . .
If you ask me how I'm doing,
I would say I'm doing just fine.
I would lie and say that you're not on my mind.
But I go out, and I sit down at a table set for two
And finally, I'm forced to face the truth.
No matter what I say, I'm not over you."

It's not always verbatim or even a direct correlation, but I get it. I get the emotion behind it. I get what losing a great love feels like.

I am so sorry for your loss. It's good to know we're not alone and others "get it." I have found so much encouragement in the blogging community. Your pictures of your son are absolutely beautiful. I wish mine of my daughter were that nice. I'd love to have you follow along on my blog as well; www.roseandherlily.blogspot.com
